Dr Ana Marin-Niebla is a medical specialist in Hematology working in the Lymphoma Unit at the Hematology Department, as well as responsible for the management of the Clinical Laboratories of hematologic diagnosis at Vall d’Hebron Institute of Oncology (VHIO)/ University Hospital Vall d’Hebron in Barcelona, Spain. Dr Marin-Niebla graduated in Medicine and Surgery in 1994, completed her post-graduate specialization in Hematology in 2002, and received her PhD “cum laude” in 2013 from University of Sevilla, Spain. She was a Clinical Research Fellow at the Hemato-Oncology Unit, Royal Marsden Hospital and Institute of Cancer Research in London, UK in 2011. Dr Marin-Niebla is a member of the Spanish Society of Hematology (SEHH) and the Spanish Group of Lymphoma (GELTAMO). She is also a member of the the European Mantle Cell Lymphoma Network (EuMCL Net) and the European Hematology Association (EHA). Her main areas of interest in experience are chronic lymphoprolipherative disorders and diagnosis of hematologic malignancies, mantle cell lymphoma and T-cell and NK lymphomas. She has participated in national and international clinical trials and in scientific publications. Dr. Marin-Niebla has also participated as a lecturer in multiple scientific and education meetings and advisory boards for both academic working groups and pharmaceutical companies.
